\[1+{{\tan }^{2}}x={{\sec }^{2}}x\]
\[1+{{\cot }^{2}}x={{\csc }^{2}}x\]
Now we will start proving our identity
Given question is ‘
\[\cos 2x=2{{\cos }^{2}}x-1\]
We have to prove this using the identity given is \[\cos 2x={{\cos }^{2}}x-{{\sin }^{2}}x\]
