Adding 1.75 on both the sides in the above inequality we get,

Subtracting 1.75x on both the sides of the above inequality we get,

& \Rightarrow 1.5<2.25x-1.75x \\
& \Rightarrow 1.5<0.5x \\

Dividing 0.5 on both the sides we get,

& \Rightarrow \dfrac{1.5}{0.5}< x \\
