Old Major had a dream that he wished to interact with the other animals. So, as soon as Mr. Jones (the farmer) was out of the way, all the animals entered the barn. The three dogs were the first of those animals to turn up:- Bluebell, Jessie, and Pincher.
Then the pigs settled in front of the platform, where the old Major had already been seated. The hens perched on the window sills, while the sheep and cows lay behind the pigs. The pigeons flew up to the rafters. Then, the two cart-horses, Boxer and Clover, went in together. Next came the white goat, Muriel, and the donkey, Benjamin (the oldest animal on the farm).
