Hint: Here we have to draw a ray diagram for the convex mirror, as in the case of the convex mirror the ray is always reflected back and the image formed is the virtual image. Although here we just have to mark the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection, to show the direction of ray arrows are used and the dotted line shows the extended path.
Complete step-by-step solution:
The convex mirror is the curved mirror in which the reflecting surface is the bulges outwards for which we can say, the outer side of the mirror is the reflecting surface and the inner surface is the polished surface.
If the incidence ray is directed towards the principal focus then the ray gets reflected and it is parallel to the principal axis as shown in the below diagram
The angle of incidence is marked as (i) and the reflected ray is marked as (r).
Note: If the incident ray is parallel to the principal axis then the ray is reflected back and if extended the reflected ray we will get the ray at the principal focus, just opposite of the above case. The angle of incidence will be changed with the angle of reflected ray and vice versa. Similarly, the direction of the ray will be opposite too.
